Who knew cleaning your life could be this fun? 😜

Hey Reader,

As promised, I'm doing my weekly check-in. How's the Life Edit going?

I know we're delicately balancing the January desire to take a long winter nap with cleaning up your spaces. It's a wild ride and most definitely a daily commitment. But I do hope you're seeing the fruit of the labor. You're almost at the finish line.

Actually, that is a lie... the cleaning never ends. But cleaning is significantly easier when there is less clutter all around.

Next month, you will reap the rewards of a clean space as you learn to supercharge your energy.

But first, here’s a quick refresher on the five spaces to clean up:

  1. Mental & Digital Clutter – This is the “stop your brain from exploding” edit.
  2. Physical Space – Marie Kondo your rooms, drawers, and closets. If it doesn’t spark joy…you know the drill.
  3. Finances – Adulting is real, and ignoring your bank statements never helps. Bonus: this one can be fun if you get creative.
  4. Routines – Toss what’s not working, keep what’s good, sprinkle in what makes you happy. (And yes, that includes ditching the 5 am “miracle morning” if it’s making you miserable.)
  5. Mindset & Energy – The final frontier... cleaning up how you think, feel, and show up. Because what’s the point of a clean house and an organized life if you’re still stressed or exhausted?

I don’t want this to feel like a chore. It might occasionally, but the bigger picture is this: it's about reclaiming your minutes, your energy, and your life. Noticing what works, tossing what doesn’t, and creating routines that actually feel good, so you have the energy and the fuel to build the life you desire.

So sip your coffee, take a deep breath, and give yourself permission to:

  • Let go of routines, habits, or tasks that drain you.
  • Celebrate the small wins in each space (yes, even if it’s just finally clearing your junk drawer).
  • Add in the things that make you feel energized, happy, and alive.

By the end of January, you won’t just have a cleaner home, organized finances, or better routines. You’ll have a plan for living well.

Do I need to remind you how good it feels to have a cleaned-up life? You know that feeling of a clean house, laundry done, and fresh sheets. It's a little taste of Heaven.

You’ve got this. Keep going. The finish line, and a life that actually feels good, is right around the corner.

Cheering you on,

Hey Reader! I hope you're enjoying this Life Edit! Today we're diving into the final life edit... a planning purge. Can we be honest about planning for a moment? Planning is exactly what we think it is, and also nothing like it. At its core, planning is meant to support life. But somewhere along the way, it became a tool for control. A way to prevent the unexpected, manage uncertainty, and arrive at some imagined “perfect” destination. Here’s the truth: planning isn’t really about the plan....

We’re rounding out the Home Edit, and in my opinion, this is where things start to get more fun. That’s not to say cleaning your home or sprucing up your finances can’t be fun…but let’s not try too hard here. Those spaces tend to require more muscle, discipline, and brain power than what we’re stepping into next. So take a breath.Grab a mug of coffee. And let yourself settle in and actually dream a little. Space #04: Clean Up Your Routines As promised, this one gets lighter! The only real...

We're looking for all the high-impact wins we can get this month, and honestly, it doesn't have to be highly intense to have a big impact. I hope you're starting to get excited (and motivated) to use the month of January for different tasks. Less pressure. More energy. More clarity. And more wins that actually matter. We're all about using January to clean up the spaces, the foundation, that you'll build on throughout the rest of the year. If you missed the first two spaces to clean, here's a...
